London Civic is dedicated to supporting good causes in our community. That’s why we donate 2% of our annual earnings to organizations and projects right here in the London region.

YMCA Children's Safety Village of London Area

London Civic is very supportive of the philosophy behind the Safety Village to create a fun learning environment for elementary school aged children, with the aim to reduce preventable injuries through education and hands-on experience.

In August 2006, London Civic presented two cheques totalling $3,000 to YMCA of London.
The first cheque for $2,000 represented our pledge of $5 for every membership survey completed last spring. The other cheque for $1,000 represented Year 4 of our 5 year commitment to donate $1000 annually.

London & District Crime Stoppers

London Civic contributes $500 each year in "bail" money to support staff who participate in the annual Crime Stoppers Jail-a-thon.

Crime Stoppers is a non-profit program relying on cooperation between the Police, Media and citizens of the community. Crime Stoppers encourages people to call the Police with information to help solve crimes already committed, those about to occur and/or the whereabouts of wanted persons.
